“Society, you’re a crazy breed
I hope you’re not lonely without me

When you want more than you have
You think you need
And when you think more than you want
Your thoughts begin to bleed
I think I need to find a bigger place
‘Cause when you have more than you think
You need more space”
–Society, Into The Wild
Duh ! Such is the society we live in, and such is the one we create. Our houses are bigger, our words hollower and thoughts shrunken. We live in a state of perpetual indecision. We crave for what we don't need but simply desire and after we have got it, we forget about it. We teach manners of the society and our spontaneous expressions are termed childish. We are prudish in matters of love/lust. We love to follow, and loathe who reason. We make friends in facebook, hangout in google ,take a group selfie as memory and post it to instagram. No wonder our leaders love to lure us by their crafted speeches to the doom that we deserve.
As Kafka says, 'there's infinite hope in the universe, but not for us'.
However, I feel there's light at the end of this tunnel. I observe when people at least in their drunken state relish philosophy and realise the truth of life. I see hope when little children let curiosity engage them. I know the winds of change are near when I see educated youth talk about making a change in the politics of the country. I refuse to remain a mute spectator anymore. I choose to live, for a better society.
